Do you want to be an elite cheerleader?
Come join the Venice YMCA's newest Competitive Cheerleading program, Empire Elite. We are dedicated to providing an atmosphere where every athlete can reach their potential. Empire Elite is dedicated to molding well-rounded athletes and young adults on and off the mat. Through proper guidance and coaching, we will provide an atmosphere where athletes can thrive. Our goal is to create an environment where every athlete is rewarded for their effort and ensure that athletes learn the importance of hard work and dedication.
Full Year Competitive Teams
The Full-Year Teams will include weekly practices and competitions throughout the year. The teams are based on the USASF levels of 1-6, 1 being the introductory level and 6 being the most elite.
Half-Year Competitive Team
Our Half-Year teams are a great way to introduce the sport to athletes who may not have the ability to commit to a full year. The season will begin as the Pop-Warner season comes to an end and the teams will compete in the All-Star Prep Division.
Tiny Exhibition Team
Our Tiny Team is dedicated to athletes 4 to 6 years of age and will include their own unique uniform and a lighter practice schedule. The Tinys will be an exhibition team and will exhibit later in the competition season. Find more info here. Parents Meeting Aug 13th, 2018!

Meet our coaches
We are pleased to introduce Coach Cory. Cory has been involved in the sport of cheerleading as a coach and participates for 20 years. He began cheering in Tamp, FL for the Tampa Bay All-Stars at the age of ten. After graduating from Hillsborough High School, he continued his cheerleading career in Orlando, FL at the University of Central Florida. During his time at UCF, Cory was part of the team that won the 2007 Collegiate National Title. Cory has been coaching ALL Star Cheerleading as well as assisting High School teams for the past 10 years. His favorite part of coaching is watching athletes grow both physically and mentally. In his free time, Cory enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games and working on his car.
Allow us to introduce Coach Danielle. We are pleased to have Danielle on board. She has been involved in the sport of cheerleading since she was five years old. Danielle took her passion as a participant and directed it towards coaching at the age of 14 as a junior coach at the Venice Vikings. She has an extensive background in coaching both All-Star and high school cheer. In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family, running her bow business, Bow Royalty, and shopping.
