Bonita Springs YMCA Receives Grant from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation

Bonita Springs YMCA receives $750,000 grant toward the new Sunshine Education Academy.

Bonita Springs, FLA., December  6, 2018] – The SKY Family YMCA Inc. has received a $750,000 grant designated for the addition of the Sunshine Education Academy, an early learning center in Bonita Springs. The Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation has graciously awarded this grant to the Bonita Spring YMCA to support the effort to bring a new early education center to the city of Bonita Springs.

“The SKY Family YMCA and the Bonita Springs Y are excited to bring a new early learning center to the city of Bonita Springs," said Pat Ryan, CEO. "This will be the sixth early education center in our association and the first in Bonita Springs. We are bringing the first-class center to the community and this grant from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation has helped us make this school happen."

With this grant, The SKY Family YMCA has raised 2.1 million of their 2.7 million dollar goal and is now able to start the process of building this state of the art facility on their current YMCA campus on Kent Road in Bonita Springs.
