Three years ago, Lois’s doctor told her to lose weight, but she was nervous about starting a wellness routine. After coming to the Bonita Springs Y to swim and bike, her anxiety subsided once she realized the other Y members and staff were supportive of her goals. Now she visits the Y every day.
“We’re all here for the same reason – to be healthy,” Lois said. “There’s no reason to be fearful.”
