Exercise was always an important part of Molly’s life, from weightlifting to racquetball. The activities provided a physical and emotional benefit. Molly’s fitness routine became even more important to her about seven years ago when she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.
Instead of relying on medications that have severe side effects, Cape Code native Molly relies on moderate exercise to manage her pain. Molly’s visits to the Y vary weekly, from weights and yoga to playing racquetball on Sunday mornings.
“It really helps me to come to the Y and work out and keep my muscles strong and flexible,” Molly said.
