Summer Employment
The South County Family YMCA is seeking active, energetic role models in all branches for our Group Leader/Counselor positions. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with children, and the ability to lead in a group setting. CPR/First Aid certification required. 40 hour DCF classes a plus, but not required. Lifeguards/Swim Instructors needed
The Aquatics Department is seeking qualified lifeguards and swim instructors in all branches for the summer. Some positions are available immediately. Full Time Y-READS! Coordinator (Englewood)
Located at Englewood Elementary School. Preferred candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Schedule requirements: Mon-Thurs 6:30-11:30am/2-6pm and Friday 8-12p.m. Duties would include teaching classes varying in size from 12-20 students, recruiting and training volunteers, community involvement, curriculum development and data entry. Computer skills are a must.
Part-time Housekeeper needed (Venice)
3 hours per day 11am-2pm Mon-Fri to clean and maintain ladies locker room and restrooms in addition to light facility cleaning. Applications available online or at front desk.

Personal Coach (Bonita Springs)
Early morning opener needed for the Wellness Team. Must be an early riser! Hours are Tuesday and Friday from 5am-9am and Thursday 9am-2pm. Under the direction of the Wellness Director and in accordance with the policies of the YMCA, the personal coach will be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective instruction to members of exercise equipment and interaction with all members utilizing the wellness facility.
